Common questions
What platform do we use for lessons?
All lessons take place on Microsoft Teams: the link is always the same, so no searching each time. You just need a stable internet connection, a microphone, and ideally a camera. Microsoft Teams is free to use and works directly in your browser.
What levels do you teach?
All levels from complete beginner (A0) to advanced (C1/C2). During your trial lesson I assess your level precisely and build a learning plan matched to where you are right now.
Which lesson length should I choose: 25 or 50 minutes?
25-minute lessons are perfect for focused practice, vocabulary drills, quick grammar check-ins, or if your schedule is tight. 50-minute lessons allow us to go deeper, great for conversation practice, complex grammar, writing, or exam preparation. Many students mix both depending on the week.
Can I book all my pack slots at once?
Yes! When you purchase a pack, you can book all sessions at once, or gradually as your schedule allows. Pack lessons never expire: your credits are yours for life, with no time limit.
What is the cancellation policy?
You can reschedule up to 12 hours before your lesson, free of charge. Cancel with less than 12 hours notice and that session credit is used. If you do not show up, I'll wait 15 minutes from the start time, and if I haven't heard from you by then, the credit is used for that lesson too.
What payment methods do you accept?
You can pay with any major credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) through Stripe. Your payment is secure, and packs are paid in full upfront, before your first lesson.
Can I get a refund on a pack?
Lesson packs are non-refundable once purchased. That's exactly why the $15 trial lesson exists: it lets you feel out my teaching style risk-free before committing to a pack. Still unsure after that? Start with a single lesson instead of a full pack.
Do you prepare students for official exams?
Yes, I prepare students for DELF (A1–B2), DALF (C1–C2), TCF, and TEF exams. Whatever plan you choose, exam preparation can be the focus of your sessions, it is not limited to any specific pack.
